Anyone have OME springs on a CJ? install problems.

The most depressing thing...I got the new Old Man Emu springs and installed them one the front only to find that when I took the weight off the jeep they cloapsed to the point where the shackels went all the way up and forward until they laid horizontal along the frame. :< Anyone else have a problem like this? I noticed the springs are WAY longer than the stock springs...maybe they gave me the wrangler springs instead of the CJ springs??

I have the OME J1R springs on my 1982 CJ7 front and rear. The OME springs are YJ springs and the CJ install kits I have seen use wider spring plates and require a wider hanger on the front, relocated forward 1".

To my knowledge, OME does not make springs for the CJ.
