A Whole can of worms...er...York problems!

So I found this Mercedes York 210R to replace my seized unit. The intake and exhaust are both damaged beyond use (yunkyard guys got it before I could), so I figured I could just unscrew them and screw my old ones on. Well, they're different, the hose parts that is. Since I can't use my old hose connections, I thought maybe about swapping the entire lid. I could just seperate the "valve cover" from my old one complete with the correct ports to the new York. The only problem I see is that I have to either get a new gasket , use the old one , or make a new one . What do you guys think?

Fritz
