Shimmeys and Shakes

My rig has developed a nasty shimmey recently. It starts at about 90km/h (55MPH) and stops at about 120km/h (75MPH).

I am driving a 98 TJ stock with 30" tires, manual tranny, about 75,000 km or 47,000 miles on it.

Any suggestions? - from simpliest fix to worst possible scenario.

Thanks in advance for your help

Rob

The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert.

Re: Shimmeys and Shakes

Well, if your profile were filled out, to include your e-mail, I would have sent you some sections from the "AMC/JEEP Diagnosing and Eliminating Vehicle Vibrations" manual. They are too large to post here.
