Great New Camping Perk for Jeepchick

I am very lucky to have a Jeepchick, that loves to wheel and camp. She even enjoys helping me wrench on the rig.
Being that she was raised as the daughter, and camp hand, of a Rogue River Fishing Guide, she is also a most efficient quartermaster to the core.
So when I surprised her today with a cool new piece of camp swag, she was very happy. I bought her a Zodi Camp Shower. this thing is a self contained, 10,000 btu electric pump shower, and can heat water to 100 degrees in 10 seconds. It come in a kit about the size of an ammo box, and can provide (40) 5 minute showers on one propane bottle and a fresh charge on the pump. She wasnt impressed however with my brain storm, that it could be easily trail modified to be a parts washer,(what can I say, I have occasional spells of uncontrollable trail genius).
Anyway, it cost $140, but thats a small price to pay to keep the unhindered funding of endless jeep parts flowing.
And it is a well engineered quality piece of equiptment.

Wow, you can get a nice tan on your arms, from welding with no shirt on.

Yes, life is always a balance. I'm sending my wife and two daughters off on their east coast trip this saturday.......in exchange for the axles and SOA I'm working on right now for the Scrambler. There's no guilt when everyone is getting what they want.

I had seen that advertised and thought about getting it but wanted to get some word from somebody with personal experience. Anything that can wash a nasty squid is sure to keep us Marines clean.

Raymo, where in the east are they going?

H8, won't the residual traces of running gas or paint thinner through the shower make a mess when you convert back to water? You said as a parts washer!

Re: Great New Camping Perk for Jeepchick

Anyone make their own home-made manifold/coolant heated shower assembly that they'd like to post the plans to the SWB Tech Page?

Jeepn,

Her friend lives in Pennsylvania. This year they are going to NYC, DC, Virginia (williamsburg, etc).

Last year they went to Boston, Cape Cod, NYC.

She really loves it back there. We lived in Virginia one summer and she fell in love with what she calls 'the cozyness' of it all.

Re: Great New Camping Perk for Jeepchick

I think this is what Leve is talking about. http://www.hotcampshowers.com/new1851.html I've known about this place for a couple of years but never wanted to pay this much. I don't know why I never posted it here-If anyone can make these easier and cheaper, this board would be the place!
