Towing capacity.

What would be a good 4x4 that is capable of towing a 4000+lb trailer everyday at highway speeds?

Wow, 4,000 lbs is quite a bit. I would say something half ton is a start. I wouldn't recommend anything shortwheelbase. What about an M715? Yeah, that's what would do it. How about a J series pick-up? What about a full size Cherokee from the late 70s? I can't think of any others.....

First thing you need to do is let your uncle in on that deal!The 715M would pull it so would the older Cherokee.The Willys Pickup will also.

Every day? Sounds like a turbo diesel and a fullsize truck.

The M-715 would be nice if you got rid of the 230 Tornado and the 4 wheel drum brakes. Otherwise it would suck.
