Jeep \"Landrunner\"

Went to the local Jeep dealer today and saw a conversion called the Landrunner for the TJ. Basicly it is a stock Sport model that was dressed up with a fiberglass hood, some body extensions, a light bar, and a Safari rack. Sticker price, $34,000! Thought you guys would like to see it. Click on the attachment.

Re: Jeep \"Landrunner\"

That is dog-ugly!!!!
For $34K, you can get a used hummer that looks like a hummer. Why buy a Jeep that looks like a hummer in front and a VW Thing in back?

Re: Jeep \"Landrunner\"

When I was doing my "world tour" of Michigan last week for work, I saw several dealerships with these. My question is: who is buying them??????
Isn't $20,000 for a TJ enough?

Re: Jeep \"Landrunner\"

Looks to me like a TJ version of the Renegade. I wonder how long it would take to rip all that stuff off on a trail?

Re: Jeep \"Landrunner\"

I too wonder who would buy one, makes no sense to me... ugly and way too expensive - but I have witnessed two driving around locally (not with dealer plates either)
maybe we really are wierd, here in West MI.

I may not ever understand.
