This might be hard for me to explain but the picture is clear in my head.
I want to gain a little bit more articulation on my stocker YJ.
Here is the idea:
1. Sway bar disconnects.
2. Rancho lift shocks(rs9000's?) or something of that sort.
3. Here's the theoretical part... Somehow bind two shackles together with a fabricated hinge to give them a twice the length.
Now, I would have to install little "stoppers" on the shackles to keep them at about a 30 degree angle while the Jeep sits flat. The angle may not be right but you get the idea. While the wheel is extending, the shackles will end up making one extra long shackle.
I might have left out a few things, but it is basically two shackles hinged together to make an "extending shackle".
Good, bad?
Some opinions please, since I thought this one up while falling asleep at my desk today.
