Herculiner - a bonding experience
I finally got done putting my liner in after a weekend of solid work. What would seem like a simple task led into a lot of work. For the most part, none of the interier has ever been taken out of the jeep. Add that to no power tools available, and you get a lot of yelling at Torx bolts. But looking at it after its done, I can say I feel a little closer to my Jeep.
A note on the roll bar bolts - I was actually amazed to see what held it in. There is no washer on the backside of the nut. I had several torx heads I had to grind off, and found out how easy it was to pop the nuts off that were welded underneath. They're just square nuts with a tiny tack weld in each corner of the nut. In a wreck, it wouldn't take much to rip them out of the floor.
