How much is a T18 worth?

Just that, How much is a 4wd Ford T18 worth. Its out of an 81 F150?? Its got an NP something atached as the Tcase.

for some reason the 2wd ford T18s are easier to adapt to the AA kits ( to dana 20 or dana 300)

if you can some how use a Ford transfer case, then bolt it up and run it but the factory adapters are pretty long I think

core (input shaft+other internal parts)value $50-$100


if you can bolt it in and use it more like $250-$400

if your having to buy adapters or its not fresh and smooth shifting, I wouldnt spend over $100 in it, you cant possibly come out ahead in this scenario.

depends on what yor trying to put it in really.

I gave $75 for my Ford T-18 and you can buy them all day for $100. Ozarkjeep is right, you want the 2 wheel drive version. The trannys are cheap it's the adapters that will kill ya! I got a good deal on my adapers from "No Excuses" in New Jersey. Saved me $100 over AA's price for the same thing.
