You'll be fine, at the rate air is flowing through them, another 1" of cooling fins on the front isn't going to hurt it too much. I would think a 3" thick tranny cooler on the front of the radiator could cause some obstruction though.

The technical answer is YES. The practical answer is you probably don't need to worry about it.
Obviously air passing through the tranny cooler will pick up the heat off the tranny cooler. That is what it is supposed to do - pick it up and haul it off. Well, it hauls it into the radiator fins, which means that the air going into the radiator is warmer than it would be without the tranny cooler. There is also a small bit of restriction of air flow because of the solid parts of the tranny cooler.
In extremely hot weather a cooling system that is working at its limits may be over taxed by the addition of the tranny cooler. If your cooling system is partially clogged, or if the thermostat isn't opening properly, or if the cooling system isn't adaquate for the engine, the tranny cooler could be the thing that puts it over the top. It is conceivable, although not too likely, that the addition of the tranny cooler could put it over the top, but even then other conditions would have to be present too - extreme outside heat, hard pull at low speed etc.
