FS- Ford 9\" Housing. 55 3/4\" for sale

I have a ford 9" housing that I was told was out of an early bronco. I am going to list it on ebay unless one of my fellow BBS members wants it. Here are the specs (regardless of what vehicle it came out of):

55 3/4" wide from flange to flange on the housing only. With axles/brakes/bearings it will be between 60-61". Perfect fit for waggy front 44. Pumpkin is off center by 1" toward driver side.

It is the small bearing version. 3/8" bolts pattern: 2" x 3 5/16" Bearing diameter: 2.834"

Comes with backing plates (for drum brakes) and 3/8" bolts to hold them on.

Was stripped, primed and painted gloss black.

Has spring perches set up as spring under at 44 1/2" on center.

Buyer to pay shipping from San Diego 92109. It weighs less than 50 lbs, so shipping should be $30-45 depending on where you are. I've got some good info I've collected on disc brake set-ups for the 9" (pretty easy).

If you are interested, let me know. Order 31 spline shafts and never look back.

$155.

Perfect width for me, but offset to the wrong side . I need offset to passenger (d18 xfer)... Good price though.. Bret

The housing is offset, but with the third member, the driveshaft will be centered (the pinion is not centered in the third member, it's off to the pass side).

Hey hubeid, you need to do what I did and get an axle from a wagoneer with quadratrac. The pinion will be lined up perfect for the dana 18.
