Sounds like you have an air leak. They will cycle, depending on how much you switch the locker, but every 20 seconds is to
often. Did you install a switch inline so you can turn the compressor off entirerly?
You might check the o'ring seal on the air tank. The one on top of the unit. The bolt in the end has an 0'ring on it , it feeds through the tank and holds it all together. This also (the tank) has an o'ring on it. Mine would loosen every so often and I had to re-tighten it. The best thing you can do for your unit is to put a switch on the compressor to keep it off unless you need it. To check for the leak turn your solenoids off. Let the compressor build up pressure. If it stops and stays off then the air leak is past the solenoids, could be the line or any fitting on the line. You have 2 units,(front and rear) turn the rear on and make same test, if you hold air try the front unit the same way. You can trace this line by line, front to rear if you want to find the point of the leak. You should be able to put the units, if 2 on (locked), and have the compressor cycle about every hour or so of driving. That is what mine are doing (front and rear) with out an air tank. Have any other questions drop me a line. I have got pretty good at trouble shooting ARB's over the last year. They are still the best type of locker for all around driving. GP'n
it cycles even with the locker off .. the guy who installed it riped the 1st oring on the locker .. may be possible they forgot to tigten some stuff have 2 crawl under the old rust bucket to see ..
If it cycles with the ARB off then I would check for a leak on the compressor or the fittings between the comp. and the solenoid. The way my unit is configured is solenoids are attached to the compressor with a short nipple and then the tubing is attached to the solenoids. By hitting a switch this opens the solenoid allowing the air to pass through the tubing to the lockers. When the switch is off the air is trapped in the compressor tank, that means if I have a cycling unit I have power to the compressor all the time and when the psi. switch sees low psi due to a leak, (compressor or fitting on tank/solenoid/psi switch). Having problem with compressor cycling while ARB is in the on position would mean a leak some where on tubing or fittings after the solenoids to include the o'rings in the locker. This should be looked at AFTER you do the first check to eliminate compressor or solenoid leaks. Do the easy stuff first./wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
Use a soapy water solution to locate your leaks. My Compressor wont cycle all day long if I dont turn the Locker on(front only), it will activate after about 5 on/off cycles when Im using the locker. As the other posts stated the compressor O rings at the end of the built in tank, tends to leak if ithe bolt is loose (or to tight).

If at first you dont succeed, your replacement will try and try again.
