I took the lazy route and went with fenderwell headers, they look cool and all until I bang them on a rock but they are NOISY. Very hard to seal, I have to use copperseal gaskets. And they only help hp in the high rpms, may even lose some torque down low where i need it. I will probably go with factory manifolds when the headers kick off if it doesen't cost too much. I have the 360 heads and intake on my 304 but it came that way so I don't know what power it gained. I would look for higher comp pistons or raise comp by planing block or heads.
