The larado package was a trim option; stripes, fancy seat and door trim, full carpeting, aluminum wheels, foglights etc. The gears are either 3.07 or 3.55. There are tags on the front and rear axle covers that give the original ratios, (unless they were left off during servicing). A smaller tag on the rear axle, usually with a orange paint dot, indicates a limited slip differential. Hope this helps, good luck!

Yes, if you have a limited slip, jack up both rear tires (Use jackstands for safety), put the trans in neutral, release the parkingbrake, turn the rear wheels one complete revolution and count the number of times that the rear driveshaft turns. That is your ratio. 3.07 is the most common, 3.55 optional.
If you have a open differential, jack up one rear wheel and rotate it twice to get the correct number of driveshaft turns. (If you have a limited slip that is worn out, this will work too). A chalk mark on the driveshaft and tire sometimes is helpful.
Hope this helps, good luck!
