Do any of you know where the light and temp sensors are on the 2000 Grand Cherokee? I thought it was the red thing in front of the driver that blinks when the car is locked but I covered that up during the day and the lights didn't come on. I posted this on the mid-sized group as well, but no one answered there either.
Thanks

The red light is the indicator for the security system, also it has a sun-load sensor for the auto temp control A/C. The outside temp sensor is located behind the grill/fascia. The inside temp is read by 2 infra-red sensors in the ATC control head, one for the driver, one for the front passenger. Non-ATC WJs don't have them. The light sensor, I believe,is in the front face of the rearview mirror. (It may be on top of the dash though, I'm not positive on that!) Hope this helps!
