I don't know about that model, but our family had a late 70's glastron ski boat. We put thousands of hours on that thing at Lake Powell, Flaming Gorge, and around the Denver area. At the time, Glastrons were on the cheap end of boats. It was pretty good with an inline Volvo engine. The Volvo Penta outdrive (I/O boat) was the one thing that we had to repair several times (not too cheap if I remember right).
It seems they got a little better in the 80s. I personally think that Mercruiser outdrives had less problems during that time.
I would look it over and see how it was taken care of. It's old enough now that the original quality isn't probably as important as how it was taken care of.
