Anyone make 5.13 gears for the D30?

It's a standard cut D30 narrow track, and I'd like to put it under the Zuki. I can get 5.12's from a Tracker for the rear, but don't know if anyone makes 5.13's for the front jeep axle. If not, maybe I'll have to spring for 5.38's all around.

According to drivetrain warehouse, the answer is no. but...they also said noone makes 5.38's for the D30. Some additional calling around may be in order.

I realize you're putting this axle under a light vehicle...but with any amount of power...i doubt that pionion would hold up on a d30 or 35 with 5.38s...that might be why you cant seem to find them....

man, with gears that low and a vehicle that small, you will be able to put it in gear, and step out and walk next to it...it will be great in the rock crawling becasue you will be able to spot yourself and then reach over and pick it up and move it over if your a little off line ...wish I still had my old Sami, Back then I never realized the fun potential it really had.

Just looked at the tech bible over at www.pirate4x4.com The deepest gears
they list for the front Dana30 are 4.88. They're usually correct on tech stuff.

Re: Anyone make 5.13 gears for the D30?

I went to Reider Racing and found they carry the 5.38's, but so far no 5.12's.

I'm keeping the Zuki engine stock, not going for the hp route. It has the GRS I now (4.2:1 transfer), but I'm toying with the idea of dual trannies (stock, then T-90/D18), and with 5.38's it'd give me 144:1 and multiple options.

I think the D30 would hold up fine, it's bigger than the stock Zuki front end, which I have seen take a lot of abuse.
