350/700R4 Swap

Hey All, I just finished a TBI 350/700R4/NP241 swap on my 92 Wrangler. I'd be more than happy to share some of the knowledge I've picked up along the way. Get this - I didn't use a single adapter! Only the conversion motor mounts. Anyone interested in the stock 2.5l./5 speed/NP231 that came out?

What do you want for the engine? What kind of shape is it in?

Did you keep the GM NP 241 ?? I believe they are right side front out-put shaft,,,,, unless maybe a newer IFS chevy has the left side front out-put. I'am interested in which make NP 241 you have and out of what vehicle.

Re: 350/700R4 Swap

I'll take $200 for the engine. Its got 135K miles. Runs O.K., a little rough. Could probably use a re-build. Its complete though - computer, most of the wiring harness, all sensors, accesories, throttle body, injectors.....ect.

Re: 350/700R4 Swap

Sorry I cant help you much. I got the NP241 from a junkyard and I dont know what it came out of. I know that most of them are passenger side drop, but I guess a few are drivers side drop. Unless Ive been had!!! Let me know if you find out. Ill do some research myself.
