How much $$$ for JP Alum. Body?

Anybody know how much a JP Offroad aluminum body costs? I can't afford one now, but I also can't help but to dream.

Re: How much $$$ for JP Alum. Body?

Harold Off is running an aluminum body on his new project CJ-7, he had it in our competition. Can't remember what kind or how much, but the amount of $3500 rings a bell, whatever it was it was WAY expensive.

Re: How much $$$ for JP Alum. Body?

I spoke to the JP guys at Moab this year and asked about the cost and they told me $2800.00 for a tub. This was for a Scrambler. I don't know if that was a "show price" or their normal price. The tub they had on disply was nice! Looked really strong and simple.

These guys are in Kelowna BC , not to far from me and I`ve seen thier work and the tubs are great !! With the US dollar being at like 50% exchange , call them for a price . Last I enquired they were like 2200.00 CAN = aprox.$1500 USD . I`m sure you could buy a lot of extra goodies for the 1300 bucks you would save .
Dont hurt to call em .

Wow! I got to go with a total aluminum body - that way I can install my flux capasitor, travel back in time, and wheel all the areas the greenies have closed down! No! Wait! I am going to go into the future and get a Mr. Fusion and a hoverpad upgrade then really kick some butt on the trails! This could be the greatest upgrade ever!

And just as I was getting ready to put the SOA on the DMC . . .

Unfortunately Jay , the Flux Capacitor only works with Stainless Steel bodies . Sorry

But JeepnGreg said it was pretty similar to steel!!!! I can't believe that guy! And he really had my hopes up that time travel was going to be possible in my CJ. What a jerk! Oh well - I will get him back later. I guess I better get back work on the DMC. I like the low profile anyhow - not as topheavy . . . but that York sure is hard to install in this engine compartment.
