need tranny shield/cover....please

while crawling around under the jeep the other day, just noticed that the bottm half of the fly wheel is exposed b/c there is no cover over it. (i'm pretty sure that there is to be one on there). the one that bolts to the front of the bell housing. so i was wondering if anyone has any laying around b/c i have no idea where to find one. second, i'm not sure if i have a t-176 or sr-4 tranny. (yeah i know it is pretty basic) was told that it should be a t-176 since reverse is over and back. sr-4 is over and forward. any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks all,
shawn

The SR-4 has a curved shifter and the T-176 is straight.

Re: need tranny shield/cover....please

All it takes is a little sheetmetal from Home Depot (like $5), some tin-snips, and a drill. It is just meant to help keep dirt, branches, etc out

I don't know if this will help, but, mine has been off for a year, I took it to tellico twice for several days without any lost sleep or problems.
