Windshield Hinge Needs

Anyone out there got a passengers side windshield hinge they would be willing to part with. I would like to have one that has not been drilled for the mirrors if possible. I also have one more question? What have other people done when putting these back on? My torx bolts are crap. Do you just go get some regular bolts with small washer for the outside and a locking nut for underneath. All my nuts on the underside broke free!!!

Re: Windshield Hinge Needs

Got the same situation here , dont see much of a choice for the bolt types , anything other than a bolt with that kind of seat will look `odd` . For the backs I was thinking about just using nylock nuts with some locktite. My dash is out so it wont be to big a pain but with the dash in place you need an extra long arm . If anyone has a better idea we are listening .

Re: Windshield Hinge Needs

i have found two options.
1.get 5/16 flat head allen wrench bolts
2.i found 5/16 stainless steel flat head bolts at mendelson's surplus.$1.00 a pound is what they charge for hardware.
