a part # and manufacture.

Re: Distributor CJ2A

L.R.George, if you search on the net for willys jeep parts you should be able to find an abundance of different parts. One thing you need to know about your jeep is what type of engine you have. Do you have the L-head or F-head? L-head is the flat head and F-head is the motor with the valves on top of the block. As far as knowing the part number..........well, you might as well ask the manufacturer from 1949. It is not likely you will find or contact them. Any respectable jeep parts dealer should be able to help you with this. I do not know where you live, but in Ft. Worth there is a great place to buy parts for all kinds of jeeps. I'm sure if you call them (817)478-1711 they would be happy to help you. From my experience, Mr. Bryan, the owner, is very knowledgable about CJ-2A's. Good luck.

Re: Distributor CJ2A

Thanks for the input, I didn't explain it had
a L-head. I will try the phone # you offered.
By the way I'm in Las Cruces, N.M. I found some
of the parts with the help of auto zone, had to order
everything. Thought the parts store would have more
info--- or better yet one could cross-ref to something
from another manufacture(Ford,or someone)
