Reverse switch location

I have a 73 CJ5 and was looking for the reverse lamp switch today. I want to wire some aux lights for the back, but cannot find the switch anywhere. I am not sure what tranny it is other than a three speed. I checked through my haynes manual and found no mention of the switch anywhere. I know it should be on the tranny, but the only thing coming off of it is the speedo cable.
Thanks in advance

Re: Reverse switch location

Just bringing it back to the top. Someone should know the answer to this. Thanks again

Re: Reverse switch location

The switch should be on top of the tranny near the rear. There will be a 2-wire connector attached to it. You can get at it from underneath, but removing the access plate from around the shifters makes it easier.
