True Track

Witch would be a better unit for a Dana 30, a older power track or the true track? and does anyone have a power track for sale.

Thanks Bill

Re: True Track

I don't think that the Truetrac ever locks completely. It's gear driven, so it "senses" wheel slip or something like that and adjusts accordingly.
The Powerlok was a front locking option on some Scout Front Dana 30's and is a good limited slip because it uses all metal clutch disks.
I think either one would be fine for front steering in 4wd. I'm actually putting a Torsen in my front Dana 30, which I understand are junk and pretty weak, but I'll see how far the $70 will go.
