Heckethorn economy suspension kit

Does anyone have an opinion on the following? I am considering purchasing a 1959 CJ-5 that has sagging springs on the left side (front and rear). Instead of spending $100 a spring ( for possibly as many as 4), I thought I might install the Heckethorn Economy Suspension kit available from J C Whitney for $230. Has anyone had any experience with this kit?

what's this?

Re: Heckethorn economy suspension kit

Yeah I got the kit for my CJ-7. If you are talking about the lift leafs and the shocks it isn't worth it. The shocks that come with it won't even fit without you lifting the jeep with the springs. I couldn't even use teh springs cause I needed the shocks more. So the springs are good you just need to get different shocks.

I have heckethorn shocks on my YJ, they came with my BDS 4" lift kit. The springs are a little stiff but the shocks seem decent.
