Bestop\'s delicate Trail Cover

Last year during carparts.com 1/3 off promotion (those were the good ole days) I bought (among other things) a Bestop Trail Cover. I am currently on my third one. Each one has started ripping at the seams (different seam each time) after being used a few times. Carparts.com has been replacing them under the one year warranty, but that's expired now.

I should be able to repair and reinforce the one I have now so I can keep using it, but I was wondering if anybody else has had this much trouble with them or if it was just me.

Re: Bestop\'s delicate Trail Cover

I would call Bestop direct and complain. I bet they will send you another one.

Re: Bestop\'s delicate Trail Cover

Not sure what the trail cover is but i have the steel horse cab cover. It has been on the jeep for the last week and has yet to even move. I dont like the hold downs they give you but that is going to get fixed soon. Like Tom said though call besttop and they will take care of it. They sent me three sets of soft doors until i found one set to fit right. Good luck

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.

My .02:
Bestop has been good to me, I needed all new windows and door uppers for my old beat up top. I called their support line and they sold me windows and uppers CHEAP!!!!!
I tried to buy a whole new top b/c it was so cheap but she said they were only able to sell them in pieces, I had to call a dealer for a whole top....
Maybe I should price it out in pieces

Re: Bestop\'s delicate Trail Cover

I called Bestop each time before I returned the tops and they told me to just do a warranty return. They didn't have an explanation for the failures. I don't really want another one because I'm not confident it will be any better, I would rather repair/reinforce the one I have.
