got a D-60 today

I stopped by a buds place today to get another welfare motor for my boys cj7, and I ended up buying a dodge disconect front axle : )
Now all I need to do is chop it up, cut the bottom off the pig, order some inner shafts and some kind of locker, and I'll be in pretty good shape. I think I'll use the 33 spline outers that are on it for now (without lockouts), If that doesn't work I'll need some different hubs, lockouts and some 35 spline stub shafts...then I'll be invincible ; )

Oh ya...He took me for a ride in his 4-linked tj with the alum vette engine (345hp)...damn that thing is scarry, on blacktop the front end lifts and it drifts across both lanes until you shift, then the tires spin... : 0
On the dirt road we ended up in the ditch, : )... it seems that thing is just as happy going sideways as foreward.... I told him I'll keep my boring old big block, it's much better mannered.
