rock gear top

Does anyone have a Rock Gear windbreaker top? I'm in the market for a soft top and it looks like the perfect solution for me. Can you drive with it down? I would only want to in case of rain - the Jeep is a second vehicle. How tight does it fold in to the bikini top? Thanks for the help

Re: rock gear top

Well....for the money I think I would buy another bestop...
I leave mine on (just folded down) May not be as clean a look but I am never with out it...
I guess maybe I might go that way if all I had was a hardtop...
Although I see that I could use my bestop doors with this system....that makes it alot cheaper then....I kinda like the fastback look....hmmm

Re: rock gear top

I got one last month (fastback)...it looks like a real nice piece. It worked great while we towed it on the trailer at 80 mph for 550 mi. : )...and it seals great. There are a couple of cheesy mig welds on the bed channel ...ok, it looks like my kids did it, but other than that it looks like it should hold up real well...they have a referral program BTW...send me a email and tell you about it, it will save you some money, and I get a kickback. : )

We never used it as a bikini tho. it was just too pretty to use in tellico, and it's a good thing too. : )

Re: rock gear top

Does it use the same windshield channel the Bestops use?

Re: rock gear top

it uses the channel that wraps down the pillar about a inch or so...I don't know what bestop uses.
