LED lights

I ordered a pair of the flush mounted LED lights from Westfleet, the type with the stainless steel 1/2 bezel. I am getting a bit nervous because someone commented that a 4 and 1/2 hole will not fit between the gas filler and the top of the inner body (where the roll bar mounts). Anyone install these, and should I have enough room?

Also, does anybody know if any newer 4x4's come with a "30 or "31 donut style spare with a CJ bolt pattern, I'm looking for a "just get me home spare" for long trips.

Re: LED lights

If my memory serves me correctly I had to cut a 4.5" hole for my lights, if you line the bottom if the hole up with the bottom of the existing smaller hole for the wiring for the existing tail lights it JUST fits and I mean exactly. You will nee to trim the lip that is folded down where the wheel housing is welded to the tub. You should be able to check by measuring from the bottom of the hole to the wheel housing, just remove the splash guard and reach up under the tub. Hope this helps you.

I do the same thing every weekend, its just the location where I do it that changes!

Re: LED lights

I don't know about on a cj, but it fit on my wrangler(mine aren't led but the same size). I am doing the LEDs on a freinds 7 this weekend, if they fit(and they better or there will be a very lage hole in the truck) I'll let you know. Also on my wrangler, the hole saw did just nick the inner body but I wasn't using grommet mount lights.
