d44 or d30 outers, which to use

Which of the two (d30,d44) outers should I use on a soa d44 swap? 79 cj7.

Depends on your wheeling habits. Moderate wheelers can get by with the D30 outers but more hardcore wheelers will want the stronger D44 outers. In all my years of wheeling I have never broke my D30 outers but I have broken a U-joint.

The terms "hardcore" and "moderate" are subject to interpretation.

Appreciate the reply, I am about to prepare the axle for the swap. I was intending to use the d30 outers,and just wanted to know if I would be better off with the 44s.
