Running Ruff Help!!

Got an 86 CJ7 that was losing all of its power intermittently. Then it just quit. Took off the Cat and found a bunch of loose stuff, so i knocked everything out of it and completely hollowed it out. We have been having carb problems with it but no power loss. The jeep isn't puffing black smoke out the tail pipe any more but still dont have the power. Any ideas?

Re: Running Ruff Help!!

i sprayed the carb withi a bunch of cleaner i will cheack the fuel filter. This all started when i was driving up a hill in portland and it started to choke out on me. I figured i needed some gas even though the tank had 3 gallons or so (ride as long as i can without filling up stupid me) So i stop at the gas station and fill up. After that i have been having this power loss off and on. I might try to drain the tank. Think it could be ****ty gas? I put the dry gas too it and it had no effect.
