I'm buying a 75 J-20 with a 360 and quadra-trac, can anyone tell me anything about these beasts! The auto tranny is goofy at the moment but that would explain $250 price. The engine runs good.
Wow, I'm jealous... a $60 NAPA TF727 master rebuild kit and two weekends for the rebuild of the transmission and you've gone one GREAT piece of American Iron sitting there....
Just click on this search... all you wanted to know but were afraid to ask
The clues "75" and "Quadratrack" tell us that this Jeep has a TH-400, not a TF-727. These are plentiful, strong, and simple trannies that can be rebuilt in a day with a $100 kit and hand tools (so I've heard).
