I found heaven

While brousing around on the Norther Tool site, I noticed a link for online metals. I thought, "Oh no, this could get me in trouble". I was right. Take a look, they have everything. I have trouble getting what I need around here, maybe my explaining isn't that great. Then when I do find what I want it is usually too expensive to purchace. This stuff is resonable, compared to around here. Matte grey finish 11 ga. stainless steel sheets, yea that is what I am talking about. Rocker guards here I come.

I just wonder what shipping will be.

Shipping steel???? OUCH on the wallet. But in a small town it's impossible to find! So where's the link? We can all spend our hard earned dollars!!!

Sorry, got so excited that I forgot to do the link. You have to enter the site through Northern Tool.

Or how 'bout some mechanical teflon sheets to go inbetween those spring packs? Or a Titanium tubing roll cage?

Re: I found heaven - Teflon Pads

Yjason, you bring up a good point. About 2 years ago I saw an obscure post about rebuilding spring packs. The guy who was doing the rebuild did not use teflon pads between the springs. Teflon pads were way too expensive for his use. He was using what was considered the same stuff that was used in the appliance industeries. It was about 1/4 the cost of the same teflon pad. However he never named the product. I've been looking for that less expensive alternitive ever since.... with no luck. If anyone every finds the stuff, I'd sure like to know about it.
