fixed my axle problem

Not to long ago I made a post about my right rear axle making a clicking noise. Well I fixed it last weekend. I don't know why I didn't catch it sooner, or even bother to inspect other problems that it could of been. I bought all the stuff that I needed and I was just about ready to remove the differential cover when I noticed there was rubbing on the tire. It was the emergency brake cable rubbing on the tire and it was hitting the weights making the clicking noise.

So, I have learned a lesson, YES.
Not to freakout when a new noise arise, but to check all possibilites first, before buying parts.

Thanks for all of the help,

Garrett

Here is the axiom that covers stuff like that: "Before you change out the crankshaft, look for the 98 cent solution."
