MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

I finally got it painted and on the road. I still have to finish the interior and some minor exterior mods...but its moving! I currently am running 39's and will be going to 44's next week. It is a full wagon version on a suburban frame from Urban Gorilla (steel body)...can't wait to get it out into the mud! More pics to come soon (hopefully in the daylight) ~~TIM~~

Re: MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

I have $10,000 in the whole truck right now. I think the basic 2 door kit is about 5,000. The Urban Kits are so exact you can use military or civilian doors on them and trade tops. I think the eurl is www.URBGORILLA.COM. Thanks! ~~TIM~~

Re: MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

$5k huh!! My wife actually has been bugging me to get her one of those things (a real one) to run around town in. Just couldn't justify their price tag though. She's going to be pretty excited to hear about the kit. How's the quality?
nice looking rig!
any more pictures?

Re: MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

Looks nice! Did you guys see the article in the latest JP mag about the cost of a Hummer vs. a new TJ? Just got the issue in the mailbox last night.

Man, 112,000? The list of what you could get for the $112,000 was really cool: The TJ, a new tow vehicle pickup, car trailer, lift and tires for the TJ, etc., etc., etc.

Makes you wonder why anyone would buy that thing...

I guess they must just have a he|| of a lot more money than me.

Re: MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

I've been eying that kit for the last 3 years. I'd love to do one on a Sububurn frame-up. I'd appreciate any information you could email me on the kit and how the projects gone to my email... [email protected]

Re: MY HUMMER KIT PIC!

Any idea wether that kit would fit on a full size Chevy pick-up frame (w/8ft box)? You say that the Bummer body is steel? I assumed it would be fibreglass. How much to ship one of those?

Thanks.
