check out my 79 cj5

Finally! the build up is complete! theres little things here and there to add but over all, she is done:0)
Fiberglass body new top, seats, and carpet. R.E. spring over axle, and Tri County Gear spring over steering kit. Rancho one inch replacement springs, rancho shocks and steering stabilizer. conferr shackles. warn xd8000i winch and premium hubs. one ton cv driveshafts. olympic rock bumper and tire swing. frame plates Agr super box, super pump ,and steering shaft. 33x15.50 tsl sx on 15x12 barts rims moser one piece axles and lockrite in model 20. stock front axle(for now) fire extinguishers What do you think?? ...looks sweet!...good job Matt im jealous...did they take the overpass off the supports for you to drive under?...HEHE...I wish Massachusetts didnt have lift laws...whats the motor/tranny/transfercase?...

Front end handles great. the thing that made the most difference was the shaft, the origional shaft was aweful.the motor is a 304 w/ hedders, ignition, and a holly 2 barrel stock t150 trans and stock dana 20 t case Matt

Sweet jeep, I wish I could do a jeep build up but I need a jeep, a place to do it, oh yeah, and money.

Looks really good Matt, Though I have a soft spot for a tricked CJ5.

Thanks again for the Rancho shocks I got from ya. I have a question about the Best Top flares you have. Did you use any silicone on the seams to keep mud out from under the edges and did you cut the diamond plate or trim flare for a flush fit. I am working on a set up almost like yours, just not as tall. Mine goes to the paint shop this weekend.

Love your jeep. I'm working on a 79 CJ7 the same drivetrain as yours. My steering is really bad, waiting on my borgenson shaft should be here in the next few days. How do you like the lockrite? I was thinking about using that in the rear. Enjoy your jeep.
