TH 350 Swap Question

I am currious if the 350 Turbo Hydromatic trany's that come out of the late 70's Gm cars can be adapted to fit to the dana 20 by changing the tail shaft.. anyone know??

97 TJ 31's and mostly stock but seeing what I can do about that..

I know that my 80's (and I belive most other years do also) th350 has a 4wd short output shaft with 27 splines, not sure if that help you any.

The answer is "yes and no". The tail shaft needs to be changed but you also need an adapter to bolt up the xcase. They run about $500 give or take a little.
