stock rollbar swap

Can I swap a rollbar from a '92&up to a '91 YJ? Is it a direct bolt on swap?
Are the sport bars the same?
Thanks

Re: stock rollbar swap

All of the bolts will fit except for one bolt on each side of the floor plate. I swapped a 94 onto my 89, then cut the floor plates off of the forward portion of stock one along with the rear downward bars.I then welded extensions and new floor plates onto the front section and used it as the front hoop of a fuul cage, with a couple of spreaders welded between the new on and the modified bar you have a good cage with the same shape for the front and rear hoops. I welded 4 spreaders on mine, and if you dont weld the spreaders right where the stock spreaders are then you can still use the stock bars in the winter to keep everything tight between the soft top and windshield.
