scout leaf spring conversion

im considering modifying the placement of my spring mount brackets on my cj7, and swapping in springs from a 1975 scout II. i was wondering what yalls opinions were on this and if anyone heres ever done it or has heard of it done

Actually I have never done the Scout springs, only the axles. I've thought about the springs though, very long and tons of flex.

Haven't done it with Scout springs (how long are they?) but I've done it with Cherokee rear springs (52") up front and Comanche rear springs (58")out back on my project Scrambler using YJ spring hangers. I was off on my measurements for the front (welder came before I got the springs) so I'm switching out the fronts for S-10 or Dakota rears (54").
