Any testimonials about the ProComp YJ coil lift?

I haven't been on the board in quite some time so I haven't seen if anybody has installed or test driven the coil spring conversion (CSC) lift from ProComp on their YJ yet. Just wanted to see if it's all it's cracked out to be and cozier than leaf springs.
I tried to do an off-road.com search for any postings about this, but there is not an option to search SWB Jeeps and a search under all categories resulted in nothing.

Re: Any testimonials about the ProComp YJ coil lift?

I've talked to several people about the ProComp coil kit via email. Overall opinions seem very good, if you're into anything but extreme off-roading. If you don't drive your Jeep on the roads, you can get a cheaper setup with leafs that will flex better. If you drive it and wheel occasionally, this may be the kit for you. If it would just come down in price a tad I'd pick one up.

adios,
mcp

Thank you, Lee (Panther).
That's the kind of horror story I was hoping not to read. Now I know what not to buy unless ProComp refines their product between now and purchase time. Perhaps I'm making a rash decision on what that link said, but (aside for the lousy RTI improvement) it said the ride was worse than leafs! I would have never imagined that.
And thank you others who responded with words of advice.

Also Dorian,
I know someone who has the ProComp kit and and 33" SSR's.
He claimed he could follow me anywhere I went with SOA and 35" Boggers.
I can post HONEST results if any1 is interested in the comparison. But he
says the kit is great and I have heard mixed reviews but nothing as bad as
the post above. It looks like it has has good components and is "bolt on"
unlike the Warn kit but the concensus is that it's for casual wheelin with a
better street ride.

Leafs Man, Leafs!

GO SOA!

Lee
