Re: coreless or por-15

I have never heard of Coreless. I used Por15 when I coated my frame. I am very happy with the results. I waited a little too long to topcoat with Hammerite (next time I'll follow directions). I'm still happy with how it came out, just the Hammerite seems a little fragile. I would give yourself plenty of time to apply it. You'll be happier in the end.

Re: coreless or por-15

I used Corroless on my tub and frame. So far I'm happy with the results. Its not really a tough outercoating. I would definitely topcoat it with something else.

Re: coreless or por-15

If you're going to use hammerite as a top coat don't use either Corelis or POR-15.... Hammerite is also a "rust converter." Apply it over the prepared frame and keep it touched up on a yearly basis... it's good stuff at $12 a quart, you can't beat it.
