All Data

Has anyone ever used/subscribed to ALLDATA? Is it worth the money? I have seen some print outs, but haven't ever subscribed. Is it really useful?

Re: All Data

For the $20, or so, a year that all data wants.. it's not a bad deal. The subscription rate to the on-line service is fair compaired to the detail you get from the database. However, you may want to balance about a 4 years subscription price against the FSM for your Jeep at about $80. IMHO, it's also worth the money.

Don't even think about the All-Data/Popular Mechanics CD... it's not worth the powder to blow it to hell.

Re: All Data

I totally agree with LEVE, Get the service manual for 80$. Besides you will not be able to access the net when you need the data most: On the trail. My Service manual has a special compartment in my tool drawer.
