On the rear of the D300 there's these 2 nipple things that stick out - I believe they're to provide room for the t-case shifter throws. Anyway - it appears one of those broke off somewhere (just got back from a mini-excursion), and there's about 1/2" of metal rod sticking out with t-case fluid also leaking out. Is it time for the 4:1, or is this an easy fix?
