A common name for that stuff is "Polly Flow". Its used a lot for running air lines and the vapor return. However, it has two problems...first, you have to use fairly large tubing to get the proper amount of gas flow...and second, because its so flexible, it does not stay in place without a lot of frame clamps....with metal tubing, you bend it...it stays that way.
