Best top seat covers?

I would like to be able to wheel w/ my top off in mud country and don't want to destroy my nice cloth TJ seats the first time wheeling so I've decided that I need seat covers. I liked the wet olkes but deiced they are way too much and arn't susposed to last long. How long do the best tops last and are they worth it? If I hose out the interior will they get destroyed? Whose got em?

Re: Best top seat covers?

I have 'em in denim black on the '95 seats in my '86 CJ-7. I'm mostly happy with them. They've done a good job of protecting the cloth seats from mud & water. However, the driver side didn't fare too well in the low temps this winter (passenger side has my son's car seat on it all of the time, so it's probably still okay) and the fabric has split.

Re: Best top seat covers?

I recovered with Bestop rear seat cover(to match) when I replaced my front seats with Bestop Sport Seats(which I don't like, but that is a different story). I have no complaints about the seat covers, they have done just what they were supposed to.
