Re: lift kit

To do a good 4" lift you need a fair amount of parts
-4" lift springs
-All new u-bolts (unless your's are in really good shape)
-Drop pit man arm
-Spring eye bushings
-Extended bump stops
-Either a t-case lowering kit and degree shims or a new longer rear drive shaft, might have to be a cv shaft because of angles, maybe a front one too
-longer break lines all around
-Extended shock and maybe a new steering stablizer
-Sway bar extensions or extended disconects
-Beefe shackles are a good idea, the stock ones are week
-Also putting heavy duty spring mounts and frame reinforcement plates are good ideas if you push your jeep hard.
-Also if you have your stock d30/m20 axles and plan on running 33's or 35's you should swap out the d30 and either add 1 pieces and a truss or swap out the m20 for d44's or 60's, I wouldn't stress your stock drivetrain that hard and would do the swap before you get the lift and tires
-Oh yeah unless you have 15x8 or 15x10 wheels you will probably need new wheels to put the tires on.

97 TJ 30" ko's stock but not for long
