Thanks to an idiot friend of mine, my valve cover was cracked due to his over tightening and has since leaked like there isn't a valve cover in place. Anyhow, just got my omix ada aluminum valve cover today. I knew I was going to have to tap the holes for the bolts, but no where did they or anyone else say I needed new studless rocker arm bridges. The instructs say that I need these and list a part number of MRM1718. Trouble is, I can't find these anywhere. No one that I have bookmarked has these listed.

So, if any of you guys out there know where I can get these or what I can do to get around this, please, I'm all ears. Can I cut the studs off the bridges that are in place now or are these something I can get at a local auto parts store?

Just take the studs off the ones you have.

Thanks.... figured it was something easy like that. I got the box, read the destructions and my jaw dropped. I didn't want to get into the middle of putting the new valve cover on to find out I needed more parts and then not have a ride to the parts store, which seems to be the way things go for me.
