How many washers are on caliper banjo bolt?

I'm trying to install new SS front brake line but not getting good seal. I found one copper washer between the bolt head and the brass block on the end of the brake line but none between the block and the bolt hole on the caliper. This is where it leaks. Is there supposed to be one there too? Logic says there should be one on both sides but I only found one on both wheels.

Yes, you are correct. The copper washers compress to form a tight seal on both sides. The material on the caliper and the block are too hard to form this seal.

Thanks, I'm so happy when logic works. Now if it would only work with my wife too...

If you get that one figure out tell us how you did it. I would like to try that and a bunch of other things out on the female species! Nah, forget about it. When I can't figure them out I just go out to the garage and work on the Jeep.
