1 wire alternator for cj

Which 1 wire alternator would be a bolt-in on a '77cj with 304? I need to upgrade to a higher output, and I want to do away with all the funky wiring and seperate voltage regulator. thanks

Re: 1 wire alternator for cj

I put the high output GM one on my cj5 w/304. It has one wire and is internally regulated. I did have tomassage the upper bracket since the ear on the new alt. was thicker. I believe it's 75 or 85 amp output. If the part store can't look it up I can search for the number or look at it when I get home.
