Loud 89 2.5L

alright well after swaping the head from a 92 wrangler, and putting a new head gasket and intake/exhaust gasket, the motor is really loud! i mean its no quieter than before, but are the older 2.5L's just loud, i know its the same block and head, but geez, i can't figure it out, its got a new exhaust so its not that, and every thing is tight and it runs good, its just noisey! thanks!

Re: Loud 89 2.5L

Youll have to describe the noise better. Is it under accel or decel? Is it a knocking, grinding, pinging, or another one of the millions of noises? Does it have anything to do with temperature? Need more info, but all the 2.5L I've heard sound quiet as a go-cart.
